Scoliosis has been a part of my life since I was 12. Its congenital which means the only way to correct it is through surgery.   After putting on 21 kgs ( I'm 5'2"tall) with the birth of my second son, Philippe, I needed a physio  to come to the house daily to to help me out of bed . After several late night calls to the ambulance service- not being able to move and on the verge of being unconscious from pain, the recommendation was spinal surgery.   NO WAY!!

A strong core was what i decide I needed to support my spine. I researched like crazy......

I began with functional training until I was strong enough to move to the next level,-training in Muay Thai  - I loved itI I then progressed to training as an amateur athlete  travelling to Thailand and training with the best trainers and fighters I could find - amazing experience. 

 

Training is multilayered, its really about consistency, changing the way you think and what you put into your body.

Training like an athlete, creates a high demand on your body, mind and emotion, you become very in tune with your performance and what is needed to sustain it. I have trained amateur athletes (my passion) and been asked by many to share training, nutrition and mind training experience.

Just the smell of my boxing gloves or gym bag evokes so many memories and feelings for me. Moments that I am proud of because I know the transformation that took place. I am a much better version of myself now.
